Testimonials

I have had many interactions with the group of volunteer veterans working with the Henderson Service Office. They fulfill a valuable service to all veterans from all branches of our military. Their knowledge and concern for the benefits due to the veterans is present in all of their timely interactions. The assistance they provide helps our veterans through all regulations and requirements for obtaining the optimal benefits available.
I have truly enjoyed working with this great group of volunteers.

Donald Scott
Brigadier General, US Army, Retired
I am an Army Veteran with two tours in Vietnam and twice sought assistance to complete the various requirements to determine if physical ailments were service related. My first experience was provided by a VA representative in Atlanta, GA shortly after my retirement from the US Army in 1991. My second experience was in 2019 at The Henderson Service Office in Henderson, NV.
The Henderson experience was far superior because of Richard Keirn’s knowledge of the Veteran Administrations disability requirements and of the geographic areas and combat operations that occurred during the time US troops operated in Vietnam. The disability regulations and requirements for submission require more detail than the average veteran can comfortably complete. Keirn’s knowledge, reputation, and willingness to help veterans receive help for justified disability is well known throughout Clark County Nevada. I am pleased and happy to add my testament to the outstanding assistance provided by the Henderson Service Office.

“I was told about Richard Keirn by my neighbor, who had seen him for VA benefits. I contacted the Henderson Service Office and met with Richard concerning my VA benefits. With his knowledge and help I was elevated in my benefits by the VA. He also helped my wife and I to get up to date ID cards. Richard is an exceptional help to the veterans’ needing information and help on their benefits.”

“Fellow Veterans and families, I have been a Registered Nurse of almost 50 year and a Certified Veterans Officer for 16 years, 10 of them with Richard, JD, and others. Mostly trained by Richard. Richard has helped me with difficult Veterans claims for myself and dozens of Veterans and their Families. He has help educate me about proper VA claims that have enabled me to also help many Veterans and their family members to get the benefits they are entitled to for services resulting in their injuries and loss of life in service of their country. I haven’t known any service officers in my 16 years of service with more dedication to veterans and family than Richard Keirn. THANK YOU, RICHARD!”

“As a family member, the Henderson Service Office gave me a lot of information to help me prepare for my husband’s terminal illness. They gave me information and telephone numbers and offered to help me with the application process when the time comes. I felt comfortable, supported, and secure with this team. If you need help with VA benefits, call the Henderson Service Office.”

” I’m a veteran and I served 4 years in the USMC from 1996-2000. A couple of years ago, I was advised that I might be eligible for VA disability benefits.
I did some research and realized that the application process can be a bit complicated and overwhelming. I began to research law firms for assistance, I then realized how expensive that was going to be.
A co-worker suggested that I reach out to Richard Keirn for assistance with the claim process. I spoke with Mr. Keirn and he answered my questions. I was extremely happy to hear that he helps veterans like myself free of charge.
Not only did Mr. Keirn answer my questions, he provided instructions on what medical proof I would need to have a successful VA claim. Thanks to his advice, I submitted my VA claim and I now I have my C&P exam in a couple of weeks. I don’t believe I would have been able to summit my claim without Mr. Keirn’s assistance.”

“My experience with this special group of military veterans has been nothing but caring, helpful, and trustworthy. I have been to many veterans’ organizations around, even in Hawaii, but their referral and reputation dotted all the I’s and T’s to get the job done. Thank you for your help and caring.”

Catherine Del Castillo-Marias
“I went to see the VSO at the VA Hospital for help with filing my claims for burial benefits and Dependency Indemnity Compensation (DIC) after my husband passed away. The VSO administrative representative referred me to the Henderson Service Office. I called them, made an appointment, and they assisted me with filing my claims. I received maximum allowed burial reimbursement and DIC within six weeks of filing my claims. I recommend them to all my friends who are married to veterans.”

“Hi, as a veteran, the reason why I chose Henderson Service Office to assist me is because I have done plenty of trial and error with other representative service offices; however, I haven’t had the best of luck. The Henderson Service Office has truly put their best foot forward in helping me to apply for benefits.”
